A route for those whose legs are up to it, and who want to face the ultimate challenge

From Cervia to the hills, this route winds through unique landscapes, such as the breath-taking view of the ancient Salt Pans in Cervia, home to beautiful pink flamingos; the Castle of Teodorano, which towers above the hamlet of 70 inhabitants on the climb up to Montecavallo; the almond trees in bloom of the Ciola and Colinello climb in Bertinoro, surrounded by the green Romagna hills. The most famous climb? Montevecchio, of course, the legendary “Cima Pantani”. A symbolic place in our area, a unique reminder of the unforgettable “Pirate”, who used to train here to prepare for his great victories.
