It is an undulating route, with no difficult climbs. Recommended ratios: for the most difficult sections a 39×22 is sufficient.

Longiano, a well-preserved medieval village, offers numerous historical vestiges and art treasures. The

Malatesta Fortress (late 16th century) that dominates the village of Montiano is today only partially open to visitors. It is heart-shaped and overlooks and fills the small town. On the opposite hill there is the suggestive Parco della Rimembranza (Memorial Park), with a War Memorial, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the plain.
